Bart Thiede (BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, RTÉ One) is a talented composer, musical director and choral conductor, with two critically acclaimed albums, as well as numerous radio and TV broadcasts.

A graduate of Oxford University, he is an award-winning organist and 2024 OFFBEAT Oxford Supported Artist. Bart is also known for his work with professional and youth ensembles. Recent credits include: Jack & the Beanstalk, Oxford Playhouse (Musical Director), Sleeping Beauty, Oxford Playhouse (Musical Director), Have you met Stan? (BT Studio), as well as numerous choral and short film commissions, and international tours of Ireland, Sweden, and Germany.

He is an extremely versatile musician and is comfortable working in theatre, choral music, as well as the occasional funk or cover band.

An experienced music director, Bart has performed in venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, NCH Dublin, and many others. He has held Director of Music in a number of educational and ecclesiastical establishments including St Canice’s Cathedral.

He is currently collaborating on a number of projects including a brand new podcast series.
